1. Scope

Banyuwangi Hijau Officer is a field-officer application used by authorized officers of the Banyuwangi Regency waste-management program (Banyuwangi Hijau) to register households and institutions, record waste-management fee payments, and manage their own officer account. This policy covers two categories of data:

• Officer data — information about you, the person using this app as an authorized field officer.
• Resident and institution data — information about third parties (residents, heads of household, institutions) that you, as an officer, collect and submit through this app in the course of your official duties.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Officer account data

• Email address, username, first and last name
• Profile picture (captured via device camera or selected from your photo gallery)
• Assigned roles and village responsibilities
• Session authentication token (stored securely on-device)

2.2 Resident / household data (collected by officers during registration)

• Full name, head-of-family name, nickname
• National ID number (NIK/KTP) — a sensitive government-issued identifier
• Phone number
• Home address (RT/RW, dusun, village, district)
• Precise GPS coordinates, captured at the time of registration to pin the household's location on a map
• Family composition (number of adults, children, men, women)
• Electricity usage and household business information

2.3 Institution data (collected by officers during registration)

• Institution name, type, and size
• Address and GPS coordinates
• Contact person's name, position, phone number, and email
• Waste-collection details

2.4 Payment data

• Cash, bank-transfer, or QRIS payment records linked to a household or institution's waste-management fee

2.5 Automatically collected data

• Basic app usage analytics via Firebase Analytics (to help us understand and improve app performance)
• Network connectivity status (used only to determine whether data can be synced)

We do not use advertising SDKs, social-login SDKs, or third-party crash-reporting/analytics tools beyond Firebase Analytics.

3. How We Use Information

We use the data described above to:

• Operate officer accounts and control access based on assigned roles and villages
• Register and maintain records of households and institutions participating in the waste-management program
• Record and reconcile waste-management fee payments
• Pin registered addresses accurately on a map for program administration
• Analyze aggregate app usage to improve reliability and performance

4. Legal Basis

Officer account data is processed based on your employment/appointment as an authorized officer of the Banyuwangi Hijau program. Resident and institution data is collected by officers under the authority of the Banyuwangi Regency Government's waste-management program, not directly from the data subject through this app; residents provide this information to officers as part of the government's regular administrative processes.

5. Data Storage & Security

• Data you enter is stored locally on your device (in an encrypted-capable local database) and synced over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection to the Banyuwangi Hijau Government backend server.
• The backend server and database are hosted on infrastructure of Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi), the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, as part of government data-hosting standards.
• Access is authenticated using a bearer token unique to your session.
• We do not sell data or share it with advertising networks.
• Only Firebase Analytics, operated by Google, processes limited usage-analytics data on our behalf.

6. Data Sharing

Data collected through this app is transmitted to and stored on servers/database operated for the Banyuwangi Regency Government's waste-management program, hosted on Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi) infrastructure. It is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes, sold, or disclosed except:

• As necessary to operate the waste-management program (e.g., between authorized program staff and systems)
• As required by applicable law or government regulation

7. Data Retention

Data collected through this app is retained for as long as necessary to administer the Banyuwangi Hijau waste-management program, in accordance with the data controller's record-retention practices and applicable government regulations. Specific retention periods are set by the data controller and are not determined by the app itself.

8. Your Rights

Consistent with Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (UU No. 27/2022), you (or, for resident/institution data, the data subject via their responsible officer) have the right to:

• Request access to personal data held about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of data, subject to legal and program record-keeping requirements
• Withdraw consent, where consent is the basis for processing

9. Children's Data

This app is intended for use by adult, authorized government officers. It is not directed at children. Household registration may include a count of children in a family, but does not collect children's names or other directly identifying information about them beyond what is necessary for household administration.
